Covid-19

Covid-19

If you’re like many people, life is a bit crazy right now … don’t you think? There are a lot of things to be concerned about in the world today, particularly the Corona virus. The pace at which it is spreading is causing many people to be greatly concerned, but there is another virus also spreading around the world. The FEAR that is infecting people’s hearts is just as much of an epidemic. AND … I have some GOOD NEWS for you all: Jesus Christ has an answer for this epidemic. In response, we want to bring you good news along with the hope that Jesus can bring. In times like this, let’s continue to respond by faith and not react in fear. We will be providing scripture, videos, songs, and other resources that will encourage you to start your day in faith.

Safe Families for Children

With the current COVID-19 crisis, the need for host families and supports will grow. Safe Families for Children will likely be inundated with need for short term day respite and hosting. Go to www.safefamiliespdx.org to start the process to become an approved host, coach or circle of support for a family. Safe Families for Children seeks to keep children safe during a family crisis such as homelessness, hospitalization, or domestic violence in an effort to prevent child abuse and/or neglect. They also work to support, and stabilize families in crisis by surrounding them with a caring, compassionate community.

Chapel Family Care

Since we are not gathering together as a large group, it will be important for us to check up on each other often. If you need any direction or creative ways to do this, please contact us.

If you have any personal prayer needs, please email us and we will start praying right away. If you have any personal or practical needs (groceries, prescription pickup, errands, etc.) please contact us and we will do our best to help.
